Chef Donnell Johnson has astounded audiences in the Birmingham area with his culinary brilliance for over a decade. Chef Johnson received certification as an executive chef on June 20, 1993. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation, Birmingham Chapter. Chef Johnson has experience in high volume food service including retail, healthcare, and sporting events.

Chef Johnson has been named Chef of the Year; twice-named Culinarian of the Year; and twice received the Achievement Award from the American Culinary Federation, Birmingham Chapter.
He was named the Gold Medal Chef at the 1996 Birmingham Olympic Village.
Chef Johnson won the first Red Diamond Ice Carving competition and is now a regular judge for the competition. Chef Johnson is featured regularly of FOX 6 "Good Day Alabama" preparing his original recipes.
