With all the different recipes available today on the internet, measure equivalents are becoming incresingly handy. These cooking charts are a neccessity for every kind of cooking occasion whether you are going for gormet recipes (Emeril Lagasse), quick 30 minute means (Rachel Ray), or healthy snack foods.

US LIQUID MEASURE VOLUME EQUIVALENTS

Few grains = less than 1/8 teaspoon
60 drops = 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon = 1/3 tablespoon
1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons
2 tablespoons = 1 fluid ounce
4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup
5-1/3 tablespoons = 1/3 cup
8 tablespoons = 1/2 cup
16 tablespoons = 1 cup or 8 fluid ounce
8 tablespoons = 1 tea cup or 4 fluid ounce
